Learn to Code Snake in TIC80 – Game Overview

Learn to Code Snake – Game Overview

Snake is one of the classic coding projects for beginners programmers. It’s a fun game to play and not to hard to code. But it still has enough of a challenge to stretch your coding skills.

In this video I walk you through the game and the general ideas on how to put it together. It’s then up to you to have a go. If you’re followed along with either the Space Invaders or Asteroids tutorials you’ll have all the skills needed to complete this challenge.

The second video in this section will take you through my solution to the game. If you get stuck, or if you just want to see how it’s put together watch that video after this one. All the code and files are available on the second video’s page.

Have fun!
