The Commodore 64 was one of the best home computers for gaming in the 1980s. With high resolution (for the day!), full colour graphics, fantastic sound and hardware accelerated animation it was a real gaming powerhouse. Selling over 15 million machines worldwide it built up a massive software library which you now have full access to for free.
You don’t even need to have a real Commodore 64 to enjoy the games. Check out my emulation video and I’ll show you how to turn your PC into a fully working Commodore 64.
In the video above I’ll show you a few of my favourites covering a wide range of game types. Try them out. Learn how to use the emulator. Then browse through the rest of the games catalogue at your leisure.
